Lanzarote weather this summer…

You would like to hear the fishermen and countrymen talking these days about Lanzarote weather.
They are really surprised about the changes. Their entirely lifes calculating by many "nature speech" signals and simphtoms what is going to happen in some hours or if tomorrow is going to rain.

But now, everithing has changed. The time for a high or a low tide, was for the Lanzarote’s fishermen something easy to calculate just giving a quick look to the sea. But now they are lost, they are starting to fail. If you are interested in global climate change, just have a chat with one of these men.

Everybody was able to see a big family of whales visiting Lanzarote last week. Swimming all the coast from Puerto del Carmen to Puerto Calero. The fishermen said they are swimming so close to the coast to feed the family with the sardines, but is not the normal days for it. The men were not even ready, and the presence of the whales alerted the people to go fishing the sardines.

About the Lanzarote country, normal procedures for cultives are also changing, the spring shows rare behaviour with some extra winds and the countrymen says the flowers are starting to grow with a different time schemes as usual at this year’s winter and spring schedule.

These old fishermen and countrymen, ever bringing us these valuable knowledge from centuries and generations about the Lanzarote’s weather…

These daily information that we need to sail or take care of our Lanzarote´s gardens, were so easy to get just talking with this people at the beach or at their lands…we are now wondering where all these family technical treasures are gone.
